I blew it for us!!!! I was leading my class by 45 seconds or so on lap number 4 and somehow managed to knock my fuel valve out of the housing. All my fuel leaked out and cost us 2nd place in the team standings.
We'll get them next time! Great racing from the rest of the team. Branson finished just behind Palmer in his first A200 race! Jerry won his first Hare Scramble in Vet C. He was followed closely by fellow RCDR racer Barry Miller. Tim Miller finished 5th in Grand Master B!
Good Racing Lucky13!

Just talked to Jerry (sorry dude phone died) and I'm going this weekend. Crashed Sunday at the lease and my shoulder is in more pain than previous times. I should still be able to cover my class. Can't afford to miss races unless I have to since I'm already behind in points from missing Palatka. Helmet Camera?

According to UPS, I should have the new camera here sometime on Friday. Bean, Steve, and I will have footage to post (Bean and I should have footage of the same race = REALLY COOL)
Tim . . . c'mon man! Get back on the horse and "Getty-up"

Jeremy, that's good news then for the camera! I thought you may have forgotten. If you have the time can you pick up the set up you have to keep it attached to the helmet, or give me a call tomorrow, I'll have your money. Found the problem with my rear brake. The master cylinder is leaking internally. The initial is good but I can hold pressure on the pedal and it goes soft. Don't think I'll have time to get parts to rebuild it before Sat, but it's been like that since I've had it so what difference does it make!

Sorry guys...won't make it to this one. Get some good footage and take it easy on that new Vet B guy. Good luck to the team.

Race report:
Branson Blake (A200) was blazing fast in the South Florida Sand! He threw down a 28:13 lap time on the first lap and held off Palmer for more than a lap. He finished second this weekend, but I think he is on the verge of pushing Palmer off of the top of the podium!
Jerry "VET B" Bean nearly holeshotted his first ever Vet B race! He rode in SECOND place for about 3 miles and held 4th for most of the first lap! Unfortunately the Sand demons and his suspension setup caused him to make a few mistakes, so he headed into the pits to get some adjustments from TF Racing Suspension. He should finish top 3 next race!!!
I got to the front again this race, but I didn't fare well up front in the deep sand. I fell back to 4th during the race, but I managed to climb back to 3rd and almost passed the second place racer just before the scoring chicane.
Steve Mayer crashed hard (TWICE) in practice and opted wisely to sit this one out. We are hopeful to have our speediest 40-something back in tip-top shape soon.
Ian Sherwood - worked this race
Let's get 'em in Bartow in 2 weeks!!! I think Barry and Ian are "Sure Things" for first place finishes at Bartow. Who else can finish top 3?
Let's hear it!
