SETRA is having low turn out at some races, there are no conflicting GNCC or SORCS this weekend and turnout should be high. I have raced this event twice before and it is an excellent course.

Sunday 12:00 noon, 1 race format, $5.00 one day SETRA membership ($35 yearly), must race A or One day class, AMA Required, $40.00 entry, They will reprogram a FTR transponder (FTR charges $10 to program back).

They are sanctioning another harescramble 12/13 in Elberton, Ga that does not conflict with FTR.

If you go up, how about poking around, and find out what their actual attendance has been. Maybe ask a few racers, how far south they would be willing to travel, if the race site, was conveniently located near interstate. What time of year they would like to have extra race. Their forum has expressed some ideas about extending their season. Not necessarily more races, but spreading dates out a little.

Hey, Brad's right, I went to this race a couple years ago and it was awesome. A lot of fast and tight stuff mixed together. The drive isn't that far either. I definitely wish I was well enough to go.

I'll poke around. The Elberton Hare scramble has been cancelled, as well as one other. RCDR should attempt to have the enduro co-sanctioned with SETRA.

Brad, we've been trying to co-sanction with SETRA for years, BUT, since we are "bound" to Heart Island, and dictated by SJRWM on available date, we have not been able to do this!
That is why it is in every club members interest ,to poke around and seek new land, along with good contact info.
I have already been invited to look at another property. Hopefully I can schedule something shortly after hunting season. Keep in mind that it takes quite awhile, to get to know a large piece of property.
Then find the people willing to go explore or "free-ride" as I call it. Not every one is willing to follow the same "path" with me.
I'll be talking a little about enduro's and SJRWM, tonight.

Great race. Hard, slick clay with black, slippery top soil. First two laps very slippery, tacked up but with large mud holes and creek crossings, wide open fields, tight woods, ruts, groove.
About a hundred riders, started on last row, about 15 on a ten mile lap. Pros caught me end of second lap, nice to see there style for a brief moment.
The format was 9:00-9:45 pee-wees, 10-11:15 minis, 12-2 adults. Did not look like many in the mini race 15-20 maybe.
Total cost to race was $45.00 each. We had extra transponders they progammed. Plus $5.00 per person gate fee.
